The Bible is a sacred text utilized in Christianity. It consists of the Old and New Testaments which were written by the Evangelists Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Old Testament consists of Scripture that was B.C., or before Christ, while the New Testament was written A.D. or after Christ’s birth. I personally am more familiar with the New Testament than the Old Testament. Going to Catholic school, I learned a lot about Jesus in the New Testament and the Creation Story in the Old Testament.
